Saxophonist Jin-ho KEEM started studying music and saxophone under his father Kwang-Jeep KEEM who is also a musician. He graduated from Kaywon Art High School and Seoul YONSEI University.

Upon graduation he moved to Paris to continue his education where he completed conservatory course work including the Concertiste Diploma at the Conservatoire de Paris, the D.E.M program at Conservatoire Aubervilliers-La-Courneuve, the Professionel and Perfectionnement at École Proclam’art and Conservatorys Saint-Maur-Des-Fossés, Du Val Maubée Noisiel and at Conservatory Royal Supérieur Brussels of Belgium for Master of Music.

He studied in the Saxophone and Music of under Julien-David PETIT, Philippe PORTEJOIE, Nicolas PROST, Antonino MOLLICA, Alexandre SOUILLART, Alain CREPIN, Joshua HYDE, Nicolas ARSENIJEVIC, Vincent DAVID, Pieter PALLENS, Frédéric BOREY, DaeWoo KIM and KwangJeep KEEM.

He is also the grand prize winner of numerous competitions including 1st prize of the Music Association of Korea competition. He is grand prize winner 1 st prize of the Larissa Saxophone International Competition in Greece. 1st prize at the Concours International de Lépold Bellan, He received highest honors by unanimous decision as the first Korean Saxophonist from The Concours Artistique D’Épinal and was given first prize by the 1er Prix à L’Unanimité avec les Félicitations du jury. and 1 st prize at the Golden Classical Music Awards International Competition in New York, and Keem has received numerous international awards and prizes including Laureate etc.

In Republic of Korea he has given solo performances and held recitals at Recital Hall of Seoul National Arts Center, Maria Callas Hall, Youngsan Grace Hall, Byuckgang Arts Center, BuSan Arco Hall and NamYeJong Art Hall etc. Internationally, he has also performed concerto with Grand Saxophone Ensemble at Aubervilliers, Saint-Maur, Aulnay sous-bois and Royal Bruxelles in Belgium and he was a leader of Ile-de-France Grand Paris, Aubervilliers, Saint-Maur, Noisiel Ensembles and Royal de Bruxelles Belgium Saxophone Ensembles.

Furthermore, he was the first Korean Saxophonist to be invited to perform concerto at the Festival Saxophone en Mouvement hosted by world famous Habanera Saxophone Quartet in Poitiers at Auditorium Saint-Germain. He was invited to the historic Cathedral Saint- Sévrin and Cathedral Notre-Dame-DuRosaire for duo recital with pipe organ. And He was invited for recital at Embassy of Republic of KOREA in Paris, France.

Keem also held a seat as the first Korean Saxophonist judge with the national music educational in the Conservatory of France and Eruope.

Mr. JinHo KEEM is currently teaching as a professor at the École Proclam’art in France.

And He is a leader of FRanKOphone Saxophone Ensemble.
