Alejandro has shown all the qualities and strengths that we associate with exceptional musicians. Aside from his outstanding musical abilities, he shows a deep understanding for the composer and the instrument.

Alejandro Lobato was born in 1996 in Almeria, Spain. The young clarinetist began his studies at the “Real Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Almería” in 2004. He continued his high studies at the ” Conservatorio Superior de Música “Victoria Eugenia” in Granada in 2013. At the age of nineteen he began studying at the “Escuela Superior de Musica de Cataluña (ESMUC)”, in Barcelona, to continue their studies with his current teacher Josep Fuster. For several years he has received Masterclass from Yehuda Gilad.
He is member of the “Orquesta Joven de Almería”, the “Orquesta FIMA”, the “Orquesta Joven de Andalucía”, the “Jovè Orquestra Simfonica de Barcelona”, the ”Joven Orquesta Nacional de Cataluña” and he has collaborated with the “Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga”.
He is currently the second clarinet of the “Orquesta Ciudad de Almería”.
Alejandro has played as a soloist with orchestras such as the “Banda Municipal de Música de Almería”, the “Orquesta del Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Almería” , the “Orquesta del Conservatorio Superior Victoria Eugenia de Granada”, the “Jovè Orquestra Simfonica de Barcelona” under the direction of the prestigious conductor Manuel Hernandez-Silva and the “Orquesta Ciudad de Almería” under the direction of the prestigious conductor Michael Thomas.
He has won numerous prizes:
Second Prize of the “Concurso Solistas del Conservatorio Superior de Música Victoria Eugenia (Granada)”.
First Prize of the “IV Certamen Provincial de Interpretación Musical de la Diputación de Granada”.
First Prize XVIII Chamber Music Contest “Real Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Almería”.
First Prize of the “I Concurso de Jóvenes Solistas Manuel Del Águila, del RCPMA”.
Second Prize of the National Clarinet Competition in Villanueva del arzobispo (Jaén).
Finalist of the “Concurso Iberoamericano “Música Maestro”.
First Prize of the “IV Young Interpreters Contest “Ciudad de Almería”.
Alejandro will finish his higher studies in Barcelona next year.
